CHARLTON will begin the 2013-14 campaign with a visit to newly-promoted AFC Bournemouth on August 3.

The Addicks are no strangers to taking on the Cherries on the opening day of the season having done so in 2010 and 2011 in League One, Charlton having won both of them.

Middlesbrough will be the first team to visit The Valley on August 10 before Chris Powell’s men head to Barnsley one week later.

Millwall make the short trip to SE7 on September 21 with the return fixture taking place at The Den on March 15.

Charlton’s festive campaign sees them host Brighton on Boxing Day and Sheffield Wednesday on December 29 before heading to Portman Road on New Year’s Day to take on Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich Town.

And The Addicks will end the season as they started with another trip to the seaside on May 3 at Blackpool.
