Chelsea forward Loic Remy has vowed to return from injury “stronger than ever”.

The France international joined Crystal Palace on a season-long loan in August but was forced to return to Chelsea after suffering an injury.

Remy, 29, was believed to be ruled out for around two months and the former QPR star has provided an update on Instagram.

He posted: “Can’t wait to be back stronger than ever. Work in progress. A bit of gym today with obviously some French tunes.”

Remy joined the Blues in the summer of 2014 but has found regular first-team football hard to come by at Stamford Bridge.

The forward will hope to reignite his career at Palace, who are unbeaten in five league games and go into the international break eighth.
