Charlton Athletic are set for a transfer battle with two other Championship clubs to sign Hamilton defender Ziggy Gordon, according to reports.
The Addicks are keen to bolster caretaker boss Karel Fraeye’s squad in an attempt to turnaround their dire form which has seen the club drop into the relegation zone.
The south-east London side have already lured former West Ham forward Ricardo Vaz Te to the Valley, and have also been linked with a move for Newcastle winger Yoan Gouffran.

SunSport report that the Addicks are among at least three Championship clubs who are monitoring Scottish defender Gordon, who has made over 100 appearances for Hamilton and represented Scotland U19.
The 22-year-old has attracted the attention of several English clubs after a consistent run in the Scottish Premiership and is out of contract in the summer.
