Crystal Palace are the only Premier League team this season not to drop a point while leading or secure one when falling behind.

The Eagles have enjoyed a productive start to the campaign, winning six of their 12 games and recording surprise victories over reigning champions Chelsea and Liverpool.

All of Palace’s victories have come when Alan Pardew’s side has taken the lead in the match, with the south London club yet to record a single point after their opposition has scored first.

Palace came close to achieving this in their second game of the season after defender Joel Ward cancelled out Olivier Giroud’s opener at Selhurst Park.

However, Arsenal went on to claim the three points through a Damien Delaney own goal.

Pardew’s charge again looked likely to secure at least a point against West Ham despite Carl Jenkinson providing the visitors with a lead, but two late goals saw the hosts sink to a 3-1 loss.

After the international break Palace will be eager to maintain their solid run in the league at home to Sunderland.
