Cray produced their best performance of the season to make it five straight wins after denting Harlow Town’s title bid.  As a result Cray move into 22nd place for the first time since November.

Harlow were indebted to former Cray keeper Andy Walker who made two fine stops to deny Orlando Smith as the Wands took the game to the home side.

Harlow created their best chance when Jamie Guy played the ball through to Junior Dadson who with time drove the ball wide.

The game was scoreless at half time but Cray gave a fine second half display which produced two goals and excellent defensive performances from Nick Humphrey and Max Fitzgerald.

Cray took the lead on 49 minutes when recent signing Ayotomiwa Bolarinwa picked up the ball outside the area and advanced into the box and drilled a shot low past Walker into the net.

Cray came close on a number of occasions to score again and put the game to bed eight minutes from time when the lively Bolarinwa showed his pace again and cut in from the right and superbly laid the ball across for substitute Alex Teniola to prod the ball home from two yards out.

The next game for the Wands is on Easter Monday when they entertain Chatham Town.
