Chelsea v Palace
This live event has finished
- Crystal Palace look to continue their recent good form in the Premier League
- Tony Pulis makes one change from the team which beat Cardiff 2-0 last weekend
- Jose Mourinho's Chelsea have struggling for consistency this season but are virtually unbeatable at Stamford Bridge
The Eagles left to rue missed chances in the second half but if it weren't for Speroni and some embarassing profligacy from Chelsea at the other end the Blues could have been out of sight as some of the home fans register their disapproval with a few boos at the end there. That's all from us here.
2-1 Chelsea it is but what a performance from Palace in the second half. The away fans stand and applaud as one as their team are now showing some real fight under Tony Pulis.
Chelsea look like they're going to hang on for a barely deserved win here.
That's not going to do it as Chech plucks Puncheon's cross out of the air. David Luiz had earlier smashed a freekick straight into Bolasie's head as he stood tall in the wall for the visitors.
Four minutes of extra time for Palace to salvage something...
Dwight Gayle replaces Chamakh but it's an astounding miss from Ramires AGAIN as a stunning Speroni double save is followed by Chelsea's number 7 shanking the ball miles wide.
Superb again from Speroni as he denies Ramires one-on-one. The Brazilian really fluffed his lines there though, scuffing the ball tamely sideways has he tried to shoot.
Schurrle ready to go on replacing Willian. Perhaps the German can come up with something to ease the home fans' jitters.

Ivanovic bundled that away in the end but Palace are having a storming second half.
Chaos in the Blues' penalty area as O'Keefe's shot is saved before the substitute has a hack at the rebound with bodies everywhere to crowd him out. Delaney then heads wide at the near post after an Eagles corner.
Oscar should have done more as the ball broke to him in the box with only Speroni to beat but the Palace stopper guesses the right way and blocks his sidefooted effort.
...but he's hobbling around now just as Chelsea nearly score.
The mighty Maroune is down...
More Palace pressure and David Luiz hoofs the ball out to a waiting Mourinho in the technical area.
Delaney heads over Puncheon's testing set piece and the Eagles have been putting up a real fight in the last 10 minutes.
Clattenburg books Invanovic for tripping Chamakh and Palace have a free kick in a decent position.
@MarkyP7 happily take a draw here, and we're not looking too bad for it!! Fingers crossed #cpfc— @DomSievewright1 14 December 2013
O'keefe has been mustard today.. He deserves a starting place next game :) #cpfc— @MRBigglez8 14 December 2013
Puncheon does really well to find Boloise with a cross from the left which the midfielder heads well over when he should have done much better - Palace's number 13 put that right on his noggin.
Oscar is about to come on for the home side and it's Mata being withdrawn with just over an hour gone.
Big Maroune about to throw himself into another tackle as Mourinho looks on.
Palace freekick and Puncheon finds Delaney but his header is straight at Chech.
End-to-end all of a sudden as a Chelsea break is followed by Palace bursting upfield and Puncheon testing Chech.
Camerone Jerome just shot powerfully over avoiding a late attempted block by John Terry.
Yannick Bolasie is on for Barry Bannan as Tony Pulis looks to inject more pace into the Eagles' midfield.
Mata has had two efforts at goal in the space of a minute both of which were blocked in part by Damien Delaney.
Second half is underway here at Stamford Bridge.
2-1 it remains after 45 minutes and that's about fair. Should be chances for more goals at either end given the porous backlines these two have.
Where did Tony Pulis find last year's Nike Palace jacket with his initials on it?— @stroke_of_luck 14 December 2013
Chamakh scythes down Essien right in front of Mourinho and Clattenberg is straight in with the yellow. You can't take your eyes of Maroune at the moment - for one reason or another.
Hazard robs Mariappa as he trys to shepherd the ball out before finding Willianin the box whose sidefoot shot is well held by Speroni. 41 minutes gone.
Chants of "Maroune Chamakh - he scores when he wants" replaced by "2-1 and you still don't sing" from the Palace faithful after Ramires' goal.
2-1 and Chelsea go back in front. Ramires lets fly from the edge of the box after Hazard tees him up. Lovely finish curling away from Speroni.
Chelsea will feel they should have cut out that cross before it got to Chamakh. Just as Torres took the Blues' first real chance, the Morrocan has for the visitors.
1-1 and that came from nowhere. Joe Ward's cross from the left is turned in by man-of-the-moment Maroune Chamakh.
The Eagles do get some possession and Jerome takes his chance to shoot from outside the box but it's straight at Petr Chech.
Essien shoots some way wide from distance and Palace aren't seeing any of the ball at the moment.
Kagisho Dikgacoi is off after just 25 minutes to be replaced by Stuart O'Keefe. Must be tactical from Pulis as he rejigs his midfield.
Tony Pulis marshalls his troops.
Jitters for the Eagles as Torres bursts free down the right but turns into trouble in the box. Branislav Ivanovic then has a go down the same flank and shoots not far wide of Speroni's far post.
Eighteen minutes gone and Palace had looked untroubled until the home side scored with their first real chance.
1-0 Chelsea and it's the aforementioned Torres who gets it. Willian's shot came off Speroni's lefthand post and the Spaniard was the quickest to react.
Nothing much for referee Mark Clattenberg to do at the moment and he can be reassured there's no John Obi Mikel on the field...for now.
Chamakh looks really up for it today. What price a goal today to outshine fellow misfit Fernando Torres?
Mata sends over the first corner of the game for either side but a towering header from captain Jedinak Mile Jedinak saves Palace from any bother.
RT @theunusedsub: Cameron Jerome has just nutmegged David Luiz. Everything else today is just a bonus for me. #CPFC #CFC— @_Wammy 14 December 2013
Camerone Jerome just nutmegged David Luiz but couldn't hold onto the ball.
