CHISLEHURST & Sidcup Grammar School’s U15 girls’ team collected silver medals at the Lady Taverners Kent county indoor schools cricket finals at Sittingbourne Community College on Monday.
This Chis & Sid squad has been together for several years and this is the latest of several successes achieved by a very talented team.
Many play regular club cricket at Bexley CC and Sidcup CC and several players having played in various age group Kent girls county teams.
In the U13s competition there were three schools from Bexley borough who took part - Bexley Grammar, Chis & Sid and Townley Grammar - the biggest participation for several years.
None of the U13 teams reached the final stages, although Townley Grammar gained runners-up spot in their qualifying group.
