Bexley cap memorable season on cricket field

THIS has been a very successful year for girls’ cricket in Bexley.

The Bexley U13 district team finished runners-up in the London Youth Games indoor competition.

Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School tasted victory in the U13 Kent county indoor championship, while the school’s U15s were Kent county outdoors semi finalists.

Old Bexley Primary School retained the Kent primary school outdoor championships, and Bexley CC U13s were Kent League (North) outdoor winners.

and Bexley borough indoor champions.

Bexley CC U11s finished runners-up in the Kent Lady Taverners outdoors event, as did Sidcup CC at U15 level.
