TOWNLEY Grammar School for Girls played their first indoor kwik cricket match of the season at home to a very strong Colfeians team on Saturday.

The visitors recorded a score of 367, with Townley posting 233 in reply as they went down to a heavy 134-run defeat.

Townley’s team included one guest player from each of the two newly formed girls sections at Bexley CC and Sidcup CC.
