JONJO Shelvey became Charlton's youngest ever debutant when he made his senior bow for the Addicks against Barnsley last Saturday, aged 16 years and 59 days.
The England youth international eclipsed the record of Paul Konchesky by 34 days.
Shelvey was the 37th player used by manager Alan Pardew this season and the tally rose to 38 when 18-year-old winger Scott Wagstaff made his debut in the second half at Oakwell.
CHARLTON fans excited by the prospect of a potential free Premier League season ticket will start to receive their renewal forms from this weekend.
The Addicks are extending their pioneering offer, whereby supporters who buy a season ticket before August 1 will receive the same seat free of charge in 2009/10 should Charlton gain promotion to the top flight next season.

FRENCHMAN Therry Racon was recalled from his loan spell at League One outfit Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday after playing eight times for the Seagulls.
The midfielder, who has featured six times for the Addicks this season, could feature against Coventry City at The Valley on Sunday after Brighton failed to reach the play-offs.
Winger Lee Cook, meanwhile, was last week allowed to return to Fulham after playing eight games on loan.
MATT Holland expects to discuss a new Charlton contract in the coming weeks.
The former Irish international and Charlton player of the year said: "It was all put on the back burner until we knew where we were next season.
"I'm sure I'll be sitting down with the manager over the next couple of weeks to see where we go from here. I want to stay."

GOALKEEPER Darren Randolph will join a Republic of Ireland under-21 squad for a football tournament in Malaysia next month.

YOUNG female footballers can see if they have what it takes to join Charlton's academy and centre of excellence next season when a series of trials are held at Sparrows Lane on Saturday between 10am and 2pm.
The trials will be overseen by women's technical director and former Addicks winger Paul Mortimer.
