Player ratings from Charlton’s 1-0 defeat to promotion rivals Scunthorpe...

Ben Amos - 8 - Made an excellent save to stop Scunthorpe doubling their lead in the second-half. Claimed every ball he came for.

Anfernee Dijksteel - 7 - Nullified Josh Morris’ threat and was very composed on the ball.

Patrick Bauer - 7 - Tuesday’s mistake against AFC Wimbledon didn't affect him today. Won all of his tackles and never looked troubled.

Jason Pearce - 6 - Got his head to everything and led from the back.

Jay Dasilva - 4 - He struggled with his defensive duties - Hakeeb Adelakun was too hot to handle.

Ben Reeves - 5 - A quiet game for the playmaker by his recent high standards.

Jake Forster-Caskey - 6 - He was one of Charlton’s better players. Tried to push his team up the pitch whenever he could.

Joe Aribo - 5 - Lost the ball too many times. He was never given space by Scunthorpe’s midfield.

Sullay Kaikai - 4 - Another ineffective performance from the Crystal Palace loanee, who was sarcastically cheered by home supporters when Lee Bowyer substituted him.

Nicky Ajose - 5 - Worked his socks off but was starved of service.

Michal Zyro - 4 - Bowyer wanted to see a response from the striker after his poor display at AFC Wimbledon. He did not get one. Subbed off in the 53rd minute.

Subs:

Josh Magennis - 4

Tariqe Fosu - 6

Stephy Mavididi - 4
