Karl Robinson says Charlton have rejected a bid from Forest Green Rovers for Dillon Phillips.

The League Two club were believed to have tabled a £60,000 offer.

But Robinson confirmed Phillips, who is behind Ben Amos in the pecking order at the Valley, will be going nowhere until a replacement is signed.

The Addicks boss said: “We rejected a bid this week [from Forest Green Rovers]. I’ve been quite clear with the stance on that.

“Unless I can get a number two in as good as Dillon Phillips to replace him, the boy doesn't go anywhere.”

On Friday, News Shopper revealed there was a one-year clause in Phillips’ contract which Charlton could activate.

And the club did so yesterday to extend his Valley deal until the summer of 2019.

Reeco Hackett-Fairchild, Jamie Mascoll, Josh Umerah and Kenneth Yao also extended their contracts by an extra year.
