Charlton manager Karl Robinson slammed referee John Busby for his performance in the 1-1 draw against Blackpool.

Bugsby awarded a soft free-kick to the visitors after Anfernee Dijksteel appeared to foul his man in the 89th minute. Clark Robertson bundled home the set-piece to leave the Addicks winless in five league games.

Robinson said: “I want to start telling my players to dive, that’s the disappointing thing for me.

“I’m going to show you the free-kicks we've conceded this year that haven't been free-kicks. It’s diabolical as soon as anyone gets touched they go over.

“I’m trying to get our players to be honest and do the right thing. By trying to do the right thing, we get punished. Just before they scored, Josh Magennis is almost in, the defender is pulling his shirt and Josh gets booked.

“Anfernee Dijksteel has minimal contact, he goes to ground and gets a free-kick and they score. I feel sorry for the players and fans.

“It’s disappointing. We’ve conceded set-pieces against Portsmouth, Blackburn and now Blackpool. We dominated free-kicks earlier in the season but for some unknown reason it doesn't seem to be dropping for us.

“The referee did everything he could to get the ball in the box for them. So I'm not happy at all with his display, I thought he was atrocious.

“We've not been magnificent today but what do you expect with the players we have injured? I know there’s a lot more to come from us.

“It’s disappointing - when you need referees to make the right decisions they've not made them in the last four games. It’s having an impact on our players.”
