Chris Solly made his 250th Charlton appearance against Scunthorpe today.

The full-back, who interested Premier League clubs earlier in his career, came through the Addicks’ renowned academy.

And Robinson says Solly had chances to move away from the Valley.

He said: “I know he could've gone once or twice. It shows his dedication for playing for this football club.

“I can’t ask any more from him - he’s a great captain and person. I want to congratulate him.

“I’m sure, similar to me, Solls will say it’s not about him. It’s about Charlton Athletic.”

Solly couldn't celebrate his impressive landmark with a win as two wonder goals from Josh Morris consigned the Addicks to a first defeat in ten league games.
