Barry Fuller wants AFC Wimbledon to bounce back against Charlton on Saturday.

The Dons suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to League One basement boys Plymouth last time out.

And Fuller, who came through Charlton’s academy as a youngster, knows how tough it is going to be taking on an in-form Addicks side.

Charlton beat promotion rivals Bradford at Valley Parade on the weekend to extend their unbeaten run to six games.

Defender Fuller, 33, said: “It is hard to take, but it’s a long season and we have a big match coming up against Charlton.

“We are all hurting, but we have to dust ourselves down, and roll our sleeves up for training this week.

“It is a derby against a team doing well and they are a very good side.

“It will be a difficult one and I am sure if we can come away with something from there, we will be happy with that.

“We have a big game next, so we are not going to dwell on the Plymouth defeat.

“We need to get on the training pitch and work hard to put it right on Saturday.”
