Charlton boss Karl Robinson says Ben Reeves is close to returning to full fitness and Mark Marshall, Harry Lennon and Lewis Page have been running after long-term injuries.

Marshall suffered a knee injury against Stevenage in pre-season, and Reeves is still building up his fitness after being without a club for most of the summer. The 25-year-old has started running again, although he will not be in the squad to face Gillingham tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Lennon and Page are recovering from long-term injuries and Robinson says the quartet are making positive steps to a first-team return.

The Liverpudlian said: "The physios are saying he has got to run before he [Ben Reeves] is in contention. The bigger picture is he is going to be fit for the remaining 30 games of the season, not to get him fit for one or two. It's for another five or six.

“Marshy [Mark Marshall] has started running too and he’s a big player for us so hopefully he will be back with us very shortly. [Harry] Lennon and [Lewis] Page have also started running outside.”
