Huddersfield Town have signed Tareiq Holmes-Dennis from Charlton on a three-year deal.

The full-back, who joined the Addicks at the age of eight, leaves the Valley for an undisclosed fee.

Holmes-Dennis made his debut in August 2015 and went on to play 14 games for the club last season.

However, the presence of Morgan Fox has ensured first-team chances have been limited and he will now hope to find regular football at Huddersfield.

The Farnborough-born defender, 20, represented England U18s in 2013.

"Tareiq is a very energetic player. He is a very modern full-back who likes to attack," head coach David Wagner said.

"We always look at the domestic market first and he's a great young British talent."
