Reading have signed Charlton winger Callum Harriott for an undisclosed fee.

Harriott, 22, made 95 appearances for the Addicks since graduating through the club’s youth system.

He told the club website: “I have been at Charlton since the age of eight and I will always be grateful to the club for their support and guidance from when I was in the academy through to becoming a first-team player.

“I’ll always remember making my debut against Rochdale and home debut against Hartlepool when I was 17 and I’d also like to thank the fans for their support.

“At this stage of my career, I feel like it is the right time for a change but I would like to wish Charlton the best for the future and hope that the club can bounce back to the Championship at the first time of asking.”
