Ademola Lookman could play for Charlton on Tuesday after spending a couple of weeks on England U19 duty.
Lookman, who started two of England’s four games in the U19 European Championships, is due to return to Charlton training on Monday.
England were knocked out of the tournament by Italy in the semi-final stage, but News Shopper understands scouts from Arsenal were tracking Lookman’s progress.
The 18-year-old has attracted attention from a host of Premier League clubs after breaking into Charlton’s first-team last season.
Slade admits speculation is inevitable given his rise at the Valley, and the boss revealed Charlton fans could see him in action against Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening.

“Ademola is on his way back and he will be in training with us on Monday,” Slade, 55, said.
“He’s had attention, there’s no doubt about that.
“The more games he plays for England, he’s going to attract more attention.
“But look, he’s with us and we’re hopeful he might even get some football on Tuesday evening.”
Slade also expects summer signing Nicky Ajose and recent recruit Andrew Crofts to feature against the Tractor Boys.
Both players missed the pre-season trip to Leyton Orient on Saturday but their injuries are not serious.
Slade added: “Nicky and Crofts should play on Tuesday.
“It wasn’t quite worth risking them today, Crofty has a dead leg and Nick has a little strain, they should be fine.”
Defender Chris Solly, who penned a new Charlton contract two weeks ago, also missed the goalless draw at Orient.
The 25-year-old is a doubt for Tuesday’s friendly but Slade is keen for him to get some minutes under his belt before the start of the season.
“Chris has had his normal little treatment, a little injection, but he shouldn’t be too many days away now,” former Cardiff boss Slade said.
“Whether he’s ready or not for Tuesday, we’re not quite sure. Hopefully so but we will see how he is on Monday.
“It would be nice for him to get some football because he’s short of minutes. Nicky is a little bit short of minutes as well.
“Crofty’s not such an issue because he’s had the minutes on the pitch.”
