Former Charlton midfielder Franck Moussa is in talks with Walsall boss Jon Whitney over a summer move.
The 26-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Addicks in July 2014 but only made 20 league appearances for the club.
Injuries plagued the Belgian’s time in SE7 and he returned to Southend United – his first professional club – towards the end of last season.

Saddlers boss Whitney has expressed a desire to sign Moussa this summer, labelling him a “game changer”.
Whitney, 45, was quoted as saying by the Walsall Advertiser: “Franck Moussa is a player I have spoken to. He is somebody I really like and who interests me.
“We will probably have another chat with Franck and another three or four as well.
“He's a game changer. I think he can win games himself. If we want Franck and if Franck wants to sign for us – that is up to me and Franck to decide.”
The Addicks face League One rivals Walsall on August 20.
