Crystal Palace will claim their first Premier League win in 2016 when they host Norwich City at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
That is the view of Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson, who believes the Eagles will edge out Norwich at the weekend despite a three-month wait for a victory.
Despite their recent strugglers, Palace will go into the fixture on the back of a battling 2-2 draw at high-flying West Ham.
But Alan Pardew’s side remain 16th in the table and defeat to Norwich would see the Canaries draw level on 34 points.
Merson, 48, insists the clash in South London is of immense importance to both clubs in the battle for survival.
The former Arsenal man said: “This is a massive game. If Norwich win this and Sunderland and Newcastle lose, you'd think that would be it really.
“Both of them are a fluke result away from being relegated.
“Norwich did well on Saturday, I watched the game and it was a good result.
“Crystal Palace picked up a decent result as well, so it will be an interesting one. I’m going for 2-1 Palace.”
