Charlton are top of the Championship table for indiscipline.

The Addicks currently have the division's worst disciplinary record, according to the FA’s Fair Play league table.

They have picked up 344 disciplinary points, two more than second-placed Preston.

Ironically, Charlton won £10,000 for having the Championship's best disciplinary record last season.

The scores (last updated before the Middlesbrough win) are added up as follows:

  • A yellow card = Four points
  • Denial of a goal scoring opportunity or dismissal after two cautions = 10 points
  • Violent conduct, serious foul play, spitting or offensive and abusive language = 12 points
