Stephen Henderson is set to miss Charlton’s relegation six-pointer against MK Dons on Tuesday night, News Shopper understands.

The Irish star was ruled out of the trip to Brentford at the weekend after suffering a dead leg in training.

The clash at Griffin Park was the first league match Henderson had missed since October 20.

While his injury is not serious, Henderson is not expected to feature at the Valley tomorrow night and Nick Pope will resume first-team duties after an impressive performance against the Bees.

Meanwhile, French midfielder Alou Diarra has an outside chance of featuring against MK Dons, who are seven points and two places above the Addicks.

The 34-year-old returned from a lengthy absence against Reading last week but hobbled off in the first half at Brentford with a back problem.

Chris Solly is nearing a return but will miss his third consecutive game against the Dons, with the impressive Jordan Cousins set to lead Jose Riga’s team out once again.

Cousins, 22, put in a sublime performance on his return from the treatment table as Charlton recorded a vital 2-1 win at Brentford.
