Guy Luzon has confirmed that several of Charlton’s injured first-team regulars are now fit to start.
The injury crisis at the Valley has been well documented, with the likes of Johnnie Jackson, Simon Makienok, Stephen Henderson and Reza Ghoochannejhad absent for the majority of the season.
However, Luzon looks set to have a stronger squad available to choose from when Charlton host Brentford on Saturday.
“The last two months has been a crisis with all the injuries,” he said.
“But I’m happy to say that some of them will be available to play and will come back to our squad and our eleven.
“At this point we are more positive as after two months most will take part in the game, it’s a good sign for us.
“Jackson will be ready to play, Simon will come back, Moussa will come back, Reza will come back – we’re really positive because in football you need the tools and the quality in the squad.
“When we had the quality in the squad at the start of the season we knew how to bring results and play well.
“We’re happy to say most of them will come back and now it’s our job to show our quality.”
Luzon, 40, also revealed that goalkeeper Stephen Henderson will be fit to start at the weekend following a lengthy absence out of action.
