Charlton have sacked head coach Bob Peeters after just 25 league games in charge, the club has confirmed.

The contracts of development coach Patrick Van Houdt and performance analyst Guy Kiala have also been terminated.

Peeters signed a 12-month contract at The Valley in the summer and enjoyed a good start to life in the Championship.

However, the 41-year=old Belgian has recently overseen just one league win in 12 matches which has left the Addicks 14th in the table, 10 points off the play-off places.

In a statement, the club thanked the trio for their efforts but said results and performances meant the board felt they had to make a change at this time.
