LEE Valley Indoor Centre was host on Sunday to the southern counties veterans championships where Dartford Harriers members were taking part.

Kirsty Taylor was a gold medal winner in the W35 sprints.

She timed 8.53s for the 60m and a championship best performance of 28.62s for the 200m.

Teresa Eades had an active day in the W50 field events.

She won triple jump gold with 8.61m, pole vault gold 2.00m, high jump silver 1.30m and long jump silver 3.90m.

Arthur Kimber continued his successful return from injury, winning the 800m in 3m15.05s, a CBP, and finishing second in the 400m in 86.15s, breaking his own club record.
