THERE were 18 Dartford Harriers in action at the Kent county indoor championships at Lee Valley Stadium in Edmonton on Saturday.

They had an excellent day, winning eight gold, two silver and five bronze medals.

U20: Natalie Hickmott 200m 2nd 25.95 pb; Samantha Brown 400m 3rd 59.81 pb.

Senior: Kathryn Sutton 200m 1st 26.41 pb, 400m 1st 58.89 - championship best performance.

U15 boys: Casey Johnson lj 6th 4.99, 60m 3rd 7.85, 200m ht. 3rd 27.02; Joe Millman lj 2nd 5.24 pb, shot 1st 10.07 pb, 200m ht. 3rd 26.44; Sam Hoyle 60m 6th 7.91, 200m 5th 25.82.

Men U17: George Taylor 200m 3rd 23.98; David Hall hj 1st 1.90 - club record - 60m 5th 7.52.
