FA Cup draw: Fleet and Bromley head north, Darts get potential Vale home tie
2:03pm Sunday 21st October 2012 in Sport By Paul Green
EBBSFLEET and Bromley both face long treks north to meet Football League opposition in the first round of the FA Cup.
The Fleet, who booked their place in today’s draw with a 1-0 at win at Woking yesterday, head to League One Carlisle United, while Bromley will visit League Two outfit Fleetwood Town.
Dartford will host Port Vale if they can see off Forest Green Rovers at Princes Park in Tuesday’s replay having drawn 1-1 with their fellow Conference side in yesterday’s game.
It would be the second time in three seasons Dartford and Port Vale will have met at this stage of the competition if Tony Burman’s side go through.
In 2010 the duo drew 1-1 at Princes Park before Darts crashed to a heavy 4-0 defeat at Vale Park in the replay.
All ties will take place on the weekend of November 3 and November 4.
