Blackheath destroy Oakmedians

BLACKHEATH RFC women’s team continue to dominate Championship South East Two after a 91-0 rout of Oakmedians on Sunday.

Sally Probett and Holly Cook both scored their first tries for the club.

Emily Leake, Becky Watling (2), Amy Wigley (2), Frankie Newby (2) Gemma Jones (2) Helen Foley and Rhiannon Evans (3) also made it on to the score sheet, while Rebecca Carlton kicked eight conversions.

Blackheath are now eight points clear at the top of the table having conceded only seven points in their first four league fixtures.

They travel to Richmond next weekend where they will hope to maintain their 100 per cent record, as well as avenge last season’s 31-7 defeat at the Athletic Ground.
