Combe conquer Elthamians to claim bonus point

WESTCOMBE Park finished strongly to cement a bonus point in a 33-19 success over rivals Old Elthamians to lift their league position to a more respectable level.

Charlie Edwards crossed for two tries, Trent Nattrass and Dale Bellinger also scored, while Luke Giles put over two penalties and a conversion.

Ben Hough was successful with two kicks to top up the total.

Elthamians' points came from the boot of full back Tom White with four penalties and a conversion.

Renford Bennett scored their single try.

Combe's aggressive defence disrupted the visitors and closed them out for much of the game.

In attack Combe were patient, taking their chances when offered, with three of their tries coming from close range efforts and 10 points in the last 10 minutes to seal the win.
