Longhurst wins regional London boxing crown

DARTFORD boxer Callum Longhurst won the south east London 60kg title on Saturday at Grove Park Territorial Army Centre.
The Bodyshots ABC member defeated Thomas McKeogh, who last year lost in the national final of the ABA, on a majority decision.
Longhurst’s next target is the London finals on October 20, with the long-term aim of reaching the national final in early December in Tyne & Wear.
Bodyshots trainers Mick Gregory and Micky Kingwell are both confident Longhurst has the potential to go all the way.
