Top six finish for young Dartford Harrier

BEN Sutton was the only member of Dartford Harriers to enter the Kent U13 pentathlon championships at Tonbridge.
He finished sixth out of 11 entrants with a points score of 1,244.
Individual marks were: 75m hurdles 15.08s, shot putt 4.74m, long jump 4.49, high jump 1.24, 800m 2:37.53.
Arthur Kimber travelled to Zittau Germany for the European masters championships, which ran from August 16 to August 25.
Now in the M75 age group, his results were: 800m final fifth 3:05.80 (club record and season's best), 1,500m final ninth 6:43.13, 400m final seventh 82.53, 4 x100m and 4 x 400m - two bronze medals.
