Aguma delivers two personal bests at Watford meeting
THE FOUR athletes who travelled from Dartford Harriers to Woodside Stadium in Watford for the U15 and U17 south of England championships produced some mixed results.
Derek Aguma, fresh from two personal bests in the 100m English schools’ in Gateshead, continued his excellent form in the U15 boys’ 200m.
He came second in his heat and third in the final, producing two personal bests of 23.86s and 23.72s in the process.
Having won the Kent U15 girls’ 200m title earlier this season, Isio Orogun timed 26.65s in her heat and was seventh in the final in 26.60s.
Sister Naomi came third in the U17 300m hurdles heat in 47.03s.
Ama Obiomah was third in the U17 men’s 100m in 11.5s and seventh in the final in 11.6s.
