The four club memebers who competed in the London regionals
GREENWICH Royals Gymnastics Club may only have opened in February but has already enjoyed major success at regional and national level.
Catherine Nuqui competed at national grade eight, where she finished fifth overall and top scorer on the beam.
Sky Bebbington was in action at compulsory level four (nine-year-olds) and finished 22nd, with an unlucky fall on the beam costing her a top 10 placing, although she was the highest scorer on the bars.
Rebekah Bell finished 11th in compulsory three (10-year-olds), also having a fall on beam which saw her missing out on an individual medal.
However, she helped the London team to claim bronze and has also been selected to be part of the GB national squad.
Last month the club took four girls to the London regional championships.
In the 13 and 14-year-old level three category, Chloe West became regional champion, as well as winning gold in the beam and floor.
There was a silver for Eran Thomas in the level three category (15+), with Melanie Morrice finishing fourth and Megan Bradshaw-Smith eighth.
Greenwich Royals Gymnastics Club is managed by Better (GLL) and is based at Thomas Tallis School in Kidbrooke.
