LIONS boss Kenny Jackett has hailed Blackpool’s Ian Holloway as one of the best in the business ahead of Saturday’s meeting at The Den.

Holloway’s side are already guaranteed a platy-off spot going into the final Championship fixture of the season and with Millwall’s relegation fears long since forgotten after five straight wins, the pressure is off for both sides.

But Jackett, who knows Holloway well from their time together at QPR, wants to end on a high and put one over a friend whose managerial skills he rates extremely highly.

“Blackpool are an excellent side who are fourth in the league and they deserve it because I think they’ve got some of the best players in the division,” the Millwall manager said.

“Ian Holloway has done a fantastic job again this season and proved himself to be one of the top managers in the country.

“It is a game where we want to finish off well. It is our last home game and we’ve had good performances against the top sides at The Den with the likes of Reading and Southampton.

“Although we lost those games we put on good performances and were unlucky to lose.

“It is going to need a similar effort to overcome a group of players who I see as being very capable at Championship level.”
