THERRY Racon is unlikely to play again for Millwall this season after failing to shake off the ankle problem which has ruined his first campaign at The Den.
The summer signing from neighbours Charlton sustained the injury on his debut in the 1-0 Carling Cup success at Plymouth on August 9, his only first team appearance for the Lions.
He was initially expected to be out for a month but the Frenchman has been unable to make a full recovery and today manager Kenny Jackett confirmed 2011-12 is now a write off for the 27-year-old midfielder.
“Therry Racon has got a lot of discomfort on his ankle,” the Lions boss told News Shopper.
“He is training but the ankle is causing him a lot of discomfort.
“It doesn’t look at the moment as if he will play again this season.”
