JASON Euell’s short-term future remains unclear after the end of his initial loan spell at Wimbledon.
The veteran attacker is back at The Valley after completing a stop-start five-week temporary stay with the Wombles.
Euell played the entire game on Tuesday as Wimbledon went down to a 1-0 defeat at Northampton, but Addicks boss Chris Powell admitted today he isn’t aware yet if Terry Brown wants to quickly bring the 35-year-old back to his League Two side.
“I don’t know, I need to speak to them (Wimbledon),” Powell said.
“He played 90 minutes but it has been a really frustrating four or five weeks for him because of the weather and he got a knock in his first game.
“But it is good he got 90 minutes, it means he is fit so I will have to speak to them and to Jason as well and then see where we go from there.”
Powell also confirmed there had been no recent loan requests for anyone else in his squad.
The Charlton manager added: “There is nothing at the moment.
“We’ve still got a number of weeks yet but it is very quiet on that front, not only with us but I think all round at the moment.
“I’m sure when the closing of the window looms I think there will be a few phone calls then because like most people you don’t want to be caught short in the run in to the end of the season.”
