CHRIS Powell and Michael Morrison are celebrating after winning the League One manager and player of the month awards for November.
The Addicks won every game in the month, including a crucial 2-0 victory over title rivals Huddersfield on November 28 which ended the Terriers’ 43-game unbeaten league run.
Powell has been in the running for every manager of the month award this season but despite Charlton being top for virtually all of the campaign, a position they’ve held since the 3-2 win at Rochdale on September 17, the Valley boss has had to wait until now to finally win it.
Morrison scored in the 5-2 demolition over Preston on November 5 and his defensive qualities helped the Addicks keep clean sheets against Brentford and Huddersfield.
