NIGEL Spackman admitted the decision making of some of his players has been affected by the poor run of form at the start of the season and it is making the situation worse.

He said: "You can see players rushing things, hitting balls long to their keeper, rather than keeping possession and waiting for the right moment and the right ball.

"When a 17-year-old making his debut, Ali Fuseini, is your best player for an hour, doing the simple things and setting an example to others, you know the team is suffering in terms of confidence."

He added: "It is now my job to build the confidence before we go to Crewe on Saturday."
