GRZEGORZ Rasiak has returned to Poland after failing to win a deal with Charlton.
The 32-year-old striker had been training with the Addicks and although Chris Powell didn’t completely rule out a future move for the player, the boss conceded it now looks highly unlikely.
He said: “We haven’t taken up anything with Grzegorz Rasiak, he has gone back to Poland.
“We had him here for a number of weeks and he was getting better over time but I feel he is a target man.
“I think every team needs one of those but we will continue the search.
“Whether we go back to Grzegorz is open to debate but at the moment he hasn’t continued training with us.
“All of the trialists who came here in the summer have now gone.”
