STEVE Morison has been given the green light to hold discussions with Norwich City after Millwall this afternoon finally accepted an improved bid from the Canaries.

Morison made his intention to quit The Den clear last week by handing in a transfer request, although Norwich have had to improve their original offer several times before Kenny Jackett and chief executive Andy Ambler finally agreed to let the striker hear what was on offer at Carrow Road.

“We have allowed Steve to talk to a Premiership club having negotiated a deal that has matched our valuation,” Ambler told the Millwall website.

“It is now for Norwich and Steve to agree terms.”
