CHRIS Powell will return to the touchline at Dagenham & Redbridge this weekend after serving a one-match suspension for Saturday’s defeat to Brentford.

However, striker Paul Benson will miss the trip to his former club after being handed a four-match ban following his red card at Milton Keynes Dons on March 8.

He served the first game of his suspension on Saturday.

Fans travelling to Dagenham & Redbridge are being warned to plan their journey in advance.

Engineering work between Tower Hill and Upminster means there is no District line tube service, other than a replacement bus service, to Dagenham East station.

CHARLTON strengthened their squad ahead of the final two months of the season by recruiting striker Frank Nouble and midfielder Dean Parrett on loan from West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur respectively at the end of last week.

Nouble, who made his debut against Brentford on Saturday, has joined for an initial 28 days, while Parrett will stay in SE7 until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, keeper Neil Etheridge returned to Fulham on Monday after being recalled by the Cottagers just six days after joining the Addicks on loan for a month.

MOST season-ticket prices at The Valley are being cut by £50 for the 2011/12 campaign, and fans can reserve their place in SE7 now.

Charlton’s new board of directors has reduced the price of most adult, over 60 and U21 seats, and an adult season ticket next term is available for just £240 (£10.43 per game), while U18 and U11 rates have been frozen at £75 and £49 respectively.

The prices are only guaranteed until April 4 and could rise if Charlton are promoted to the Championship.

CHRISTIAN Dailly (hamstring) and Carl Jenkinson (ankle) were both forced off the pitch during Charlton’s 1-0 defeat to Brentford on Saturday.

The duo join Rob Elliot (hip), Johnnie Jackson (Achilles), Joe Anyinsah (ankle) and Gary Doherty (hamstring) in the queue for the treatment table, although on-loan left-back Federico Bessone (hamstring) played 90 minutes in a 3-1 friendly defeat for a CAFC XI against Crystal Palace last Wednesday.

MEMBERS of Charlton’s 1998 First Division play-off-winning side will return to The Valley on May 8 for a special reunion dinner.

Players such as Clive Mendonca, Richard Rufus, Mark Kinsella, Steve Brown, Sasa Ilic and John Robinson will all be present, plus then manager Alan Curbishley and his coaching staff and tickets are now on sale for fans to join them.

Admission is £60, or £550 for a table of 10, and all proceeds will be donated to the club’s academy set-up.

A HAT-TRICK by striker Joe Pigott gave Charlton U18s a 3-1 victory against Milton Keynes Dons at Sparrows Lane on Saturday and earned the Addicks a first win of 2011.

The Addicks are also at home on Saturday (12pm), against Bristol City.

Meanwhile, the Charlton women’s team exited the FA Cup at the hands of Women’s Super League side Liverpool on Sunday, losing 5-0 on Merseyside.

Charlton travel to Keynsham Town on Sunday.
