EAGLES chief George Burley is confident of a strong performance from his side against another one of the Championship's promotion-chasing teams this weekend.

High-flying Swansea are the visitors to Selhurst Park on Saturday and despite going into the game in the drop zone, Burley is taking heart from his team’s previous performances against teams at the top of the table..

He said: “They’re sixth in the league at the moment, are going well and they’re a very good footballing side, so we will have to be at our very best.

“We’ve played Queens Park Rangers, Cardiff and Norwich of late and did well against all of them, so we can be nice and positive.”

The Eagles have also chosen this game to be one of their family fun days and the Palace boss knows just how important it is for the club to reach out to the next generation of fans.

Burley added: “It’s good that the club has made this a family day.

“It’s always good to see youngsters coming into the ground and it’s important for the club as well.”
