SEVEN members of Gravesend Road Runners took part in the tough North Downs 30km.
More than 400 runners completed the race including 80-year-old Dave Willing from Istead and Ifield Harriers.
First back for Gravesend was Kevin Murison in 2hrs 25mins 38secs, other runners were Mario Cientanni, Graham Melrose, Glyn Morris, Jill Plumridge, Hannah McKee and Richard Scarff in his first ever race.
Following their runs in the North Downs 30km, two members were out racing the following week.
Graham Melrose had a good run in the Bewl 15-mile, in baking hot conditions he finished the race around the Bewl reservoir in 1hr 59mins 46secs.
Glyn Morris ran the Tanners Marathon, 30 miles off-road across the South Downs, starting from Leatherhead, he completed the course in 6hrs 1min.
Four Gravesend Road Runners completed the Cliffe Woods 10km - first home for the club was Carl Fitter, followed by Eric Pestell, Liam Hayes and Jill Plumridge.
Gravesend Road Runners meet at the AEI Henley Sports Ground, Dunkirk Close, Gravesend at 7pm on Tuesdays.
