CHARLTON’S entire allocation of 2,042 tickets for the play-off semi-final first leg away at Swindon Town on Friday (7.45pm) sold out yesterday afternoon, less than five hours after going on sale.

However, the match is being screened live by Sky, and 250 fans will be able to watch in the Millennium Suite at The Valley.

Free tickets to see the game at the stadium are available to personal callers at the Valley commercial centre, with a maximum of four tickets per person.

The Millennium Suite will open from 6.30pm on Friday.

DEFENDER Christian Dailly has been named Charlton’s 2009/10 player of the year.

The 36-year-old centre-half just pipped Portuguese powerhouse Jose Semedo to the prestigious accolade on May 2, with skipper Nicky Bailey, last year’s winner, finishing in third place.

TICKETS remain on general sale for the home leg of the play-off semi-final against Swindon Town next Monday (7.45pm), with around 11,000 seats having been sold by midday on Monday.

Home seats can be purchased on the 0871 226 1905 hotline, in person at the Valley commercial centre and online via cafc.co.uk, with the usual places of season-ticket holders no longer reserved.

The commercial centre will be opening late until 8pm on Thursday and seats are priced £17, £22 and £25 adults, £17 over 60s and U21s, and £5 U18s.

ADDICKS Chris Dickson and Dean Sinclair both suffered relegation with their loan clubs last Saturday as Gillingham dropped into League Two and Grimsby Town fell out of the Football League.

Dickson was a 78th-minute substitute for the Gills in their 3-0 defeat to Wycombe Wanderers, while Sinclair played for just under an hour as the Mariners were beaten 3-0 at Burton Albion.

CHARLTON’S U18s were beaten 3-0 by West Ham United in their final fixture of the season last Friday after defeating Portsmouth 2-1 three days earlier thanks to two goals from substitute Tosan Popo.

THE unbeaten run of the Charlton women’s team came to an end at 10 games on Sunday as the Addicks were defeated 3-1 by Keynsham Town.

The Premier League Southern Division season comes to an end on Sunday when Charlton host Crystal Palace at Erith FC (2pm).
