BRIDON Ropes’ U15s are celebrating after a comprehensive success in the London Cup final at Mile End Stadium over Long Lane.

The Bellingham side were already five goals to the good by the interval and went on to add another two after the break to complete a memorable display.

Shaq Richards, Danny Akers, Charlie Grace, Nat Edwards, Malachi Hudson, Antonio Pessoa and Malik Ouani were all on target in the rout as Bridon Ropes claimed the cup for the first time in their history.

Manager Tony Almeida said: “I believe this group of players is one of the best in the south of England and they add the London title now to the Kent crown from last season.

“The Mile End Stadium was packed with supporters from both sides and everyone there was certainly given a day to remember for a long time.”
