TWO Dartford Harriers records were set at the Tonbridge AC Easter Monday track and field open meeting.

Beths Grammar School pupil William Dellow smashed the U15 300m record, set 15 years ago at the same meeting, with a time of 39.58s.

He also ran a personal best of 19.18s for the 150m.

Kirstie Taylor’s time of 20.09s in the W35 150m broke the old club record set in 2001.

The Hercules Wimbledon young athletes meeting was held on Sunday at Crystal Palace and attracted a large contingent of U17s, including several from France.

Computer lists from the massive entry for track events showed relative times and positions, with medals for the first three and certificates for the top eight.

Despite strong cold winds, six athletes from Dartford Harriers competed and produced several personal bests.
