VIEWPOINT came from behind to seal a League Cup A final spot with a 3-1 success over NK Aces.
Aces ookg an early lead with a penalty scored by Andrea Necchi-Shiri, but Viewpoint drew level with a fine lob over the Aces keeper from Dave Goodwin.
The goal of the game came when Viewpoint’s Aaron Brown went on a long run, beating three Aces defenders before curling a brilliant shot into the top corner of the net.
Five minutes into the second half, Goodwin fired his second goal for the 3-1 win over the Aces who had good chances to score.
The reserves of Viewpoint were in the second semi-final when playing Lullingstone Castle.
It was one way football in favour of the Lullies, who were 5-1 in front at the break and then finally winning by 7-2 to go into the final against the Viewpoint first team on Easter Monday at Fleet Leisure.
The Lullies’ scorers were Alex Jarvis (3) Ryan Orpwood (2), Ricky King and Michael Shipp. Millers Cottage have found their form of late and they had a fine 5-0 win in their Gordon Charity Cup Quarter-Final when at home to NK Aces Reserves.
Already 3-0 ahead by the break through goals from Dan Salmon, Mike Halford and Simon West, Gavin Mancini scored twice after the break to complete the rout.
The semi-final of the Dampier Palmer Cup saw Ash Green at home to Oakfield.
Oakfield were 2-0 up through Scott Howsam (pen) Leon George before Ash Green got back in the game when they were awarded a penalty of their own, from which Paul Bradbury scored.
But Oakfield scored a third with a Steve Walborn effort to go through to the final 3-1.
The second semi-final had Meopham Reserves at home to Joydens Wood.
Ben Cable scored for Meopham Reserves, but Joydens Wood came back to level with a Chris Prountzos goal.
Darryl Walsh scored for Meopham, while James Long got Joydens level again and then the same player scored the winning goal, with Joydens set to face Oakfield in the final on April 3 at Kent Sports Club.
Craggs Farm move up into third place in the Premier Division following a 4-1 away win over Meopham.
Paul Winchester gave Meopham a shock lead but Craggs hit back in style through Carl Mulvaney, Luke Mannerings and Joe Brady (2).
Woodlands Athletic were at home to Stone C & I and in a fine first half, both sides were locked at 2-2.
James Moody opened the scoring for Woodlands with a 20 yard rocket shot, Stone replying with a Gary Norman goal.
Woodlands regained the lead when a fine one-two passing move from Scott McNamara and John Stapley saw Stapley slot past the Stone keeper.
Then a twice taken penalty to Stone saw Woodlands keeper Chris Aldous make a save with the first kick but an infringement was spotted by the referee and the retaken effort was converted.
However, with five minutes remaining Stone’s Nick Powell scored the winning goal as his side ended up 3-2 victors.
Division One had only one game where The Rising Eagles were at home to Fleetdown United B, where the visitors just got home 3-2.
Harpal Virdee had scored for Eagles in the first half, but Fleetdown scored three times in the first half through Ricky Payne, Chris Cantone and Louis Matthews.
Richard Harman scored on his very first game for Eagles after the interval to bring the score back to 3-2, but Fleetdown move up to third in the table.
Real Man of Kent and Kent Celts shared four goals in their Division Two game.
Celts took a half-time lead with a Jamie Bass goal before Real Man of Kent levelled in the second half at 1-1.
Back came Celts again to make it 2-1 but a late Real Man of Kent equaliser denied them victory.
YMCA Dartford entertained Fleetway Printers, who were the only side without a win out of all the teams in the league.
Despite this, they took a 1-0 half time lead with a Darren Simms goal, and he went on to complete his hat-trick in a shock 3-0 triumph, with his final goal the 100th of his Fleetway career.
