Teen sensation Uche Ibemere scored two superb individual goals to help his side record their fifth consecutive away win.
The Vickers were forced to wear Cheshunt's change strip due to a problem with their usual kit but this did not affect their performance which was blistering in the opening 20 minutes.
With the wide open spaces to exploit on Cheshunt's large pitch, the pace of Nick Hegley, Ibemere and Callum O'Shea caused immediate problems for the hosts defenders who were all at sea.
Hegley set Ibemere through on goal after only five minutes but Cheshunt just managed to get the ball clear but four minutes later the same pair combined to open the scoring.
With a perfectly timed run to beat the offside trap Ibemere raced clear to latch onto Hegley's ball and used his blistering pace to outstrip his markers before shaping to shoot, making the keeper go to ground and then rounding him before slotting home with consumate ease.
Only two minutes later the unusually coloured sky blue Vickers increased their lead when a short corner between O'Shea and Kevin Watson ended with the latter sending a deep cross which found Jason Barton at the far post where he finished with a firm header from an acute angle.
New signing Jason Dolby should have increased the lead further still getting on the end of a good cross from Watson but managed to blaze over the bar from only 5 yards out.
The goal of the season so far came on 22 minutes when Ibemere, who had been hacked only a minute earlier on the edge of the box, received the ball by the left hand corner flag.
Tormenting his marker with two dummies he shifted the ball and left him for dead and as he sprinted into the box he fed the ball through the legs of the next defender before rifling home with a fierce low drive for his third goal in the last two games.
More chances to increase the scoreline fell to captain Danny Penny whose header just missed the post before a well place free kick from the edge of the box was turned around the post by the Cheshunt 'keeper.
With the half time score at 3-0 it could have conceivably been double that with the chances created by the free flowing Vickers.
Cheshunt had a couple of chances themselves but with the returning James Tedder in good form and some poor finishing by the hosts the score remained at 3-0.
The second half saw some ill discipline by the home side who became more and more frustrated.
Ibemere was targeted by the defenders but appeared completely unfazed and continued to cause problems with his strike partner Penny giving a masterclass in forward play.
Penny spun his marker from a Watson throw and sent a dipping volley toward goal from 20 yards that skimmed the post.
From a Hegley corner Penny's header was goalbound but cleared off the line and Ibemere had a chance for his hat-trick from an O'Shea corner but his header was blocked.
Cheshunt attempts to score a consolation goal were fruitless and the Vickers headed back to Crayford with a remarkable 5th consecutive away win to keep them in 7th place in the league.
Table toppers Lowestoft Town are next up at Oakwood on Saturday 20th March as the Vickers look to avenge their 2-0 defeat back in November that swung on a late penalty award with claims of a blatant dive by forward Matt Nolan.
