Addicks sell out Millwall allocation

ALL tickets for Charlton’s away match against Millwall on Saturday have sold out.

However, places for Huddersfield Town away on March 27 (3pm) are on general sale, priced £24 adults, £15 over 60s and students and £12 U16s.

More details are available from the Valley commercial centre or on 0871 226 1905.

TICKETS are currently on general sale for the home matches against Gillingham on March 20 and Carlisle United on Easter Monday, April 5 (both 3pm).

Seats are priced £17, £22 and £25 adults, £17 over 60s and U21s, and £5 U18s and are available from the Valley commercial centre, via cafc.co.uk or on 0871 226 1905.

AKPO Sodje made it three goals in three games – and nine days - when he netted against Stockport County on Saturday.

The striker has been starting in the absence of leading scorer Deon Burton, who came off the bench in the second half after recovering from a groin strain.

FANS have so far snapped up more than 300 out of the maximum 500 five-year VIP season tickets being offered to supporters who want to pay current season-ticket rates until 2015.

Charlton announced last month that the club’s season-ticket prices for 2010/11 are being frozen until the end of March, regardless of whether the team wins promotion later this year.

If promotion is secured, adult and senior/U21 prices will then rise to at least the 2008/09 Championship rates.

ACADEMY teammates Yado Mambo and Tamer Tuna were on opposing sides when Staines Town and Woking met in the Blue Square South on Saturday.

Mambo started for the Massives in the goalless draw, while Tuna entered the pitch as a substitute for Woking.

Meanwhile, midfielder Harry Pell scored his fourth goal in five games for Hastings United on Saturday against Carshalton Athletic in the Ryman Premier Division.

DEAN Sinclair scored twice as loan club Grimsby Town ended a 25-game winless run with a 3-0 victory at home to high-flying Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.

Midfielder Sinclair is with the Mariners until the end of the season and scored a first-half penalty and added a second after 57 minutes in a 3-1 win.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Jack Binks linked up with Ryman Division One South side Dulwich Hamlet on work experience and completed 90 minutes against leaders Folkestone Invicta on February 9 despite suffering a dislocated finger in the first half.

A FREE 14-day trial of Charlton’s video website, CAFC Player, is currently available via cafc.co.uk.

CAFC Player, which is normally £34.99 a season, offers fans highlights of every single match, live audio commentaries and exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews and features.

FANS who purchase items from Charlton’s online Superstore at cafc.co.uk can currently receive free postage on all orders over £40 (except overseas).

What’s more, all purchases above £10 will receive a free trainingwear scarf, worth £11.99.

The Addicks are also currently offering Charlton shirts signed by individual members of the first-team squad for just £15.

IT’S National No Smoking Day today and Addicks fans keen to Kick the Habit received assistance before Saturday’s match against Stockport County with advice on quitting smoking available around the stadium.

The Valley is hosting a seven-week stop-smoking course next month – call 0800 587 5833 or email stopsmoking@greenwichpct.nhs.uk for details.

TWO live music nights for over 18s will be taking place at The Valley this month, with Irish band Banish Misfortune and Rod Stewart tribute act Jack Danson performing at the stadium on March 17 and 19 respectively.

Tickets are priced £19.95 and include a two-course hot buffet. Call 020-8333 4020 for details.

PHIL Parkinson revealed last week Addicks full-back Yassin Moutaouakil had been the subject of interest from League One side Swindon Town.

“Swindon asked about his availability, but they haven't come back to me,” he said.

TOSAN Popo scored a late winner as Charlton’s U18s defeated Fulham 2-1 at Sparrows Lane on Saturday, Ben Davisson scoring the other Addicks goal.

Charlton travel to Watford this weekend.

FANS wishing to watch the Addicks from the comfort of a Valley executive box only have two more matches from which to choose – the fixtures against Carlisle United and Colchester United in April.

The boxes seat 10 people and the packages include car parking, a champagne reception and food and drink.

Get more details by emailing sales@cafc.co.uk or on 0871 226 1905.

NEITHER the Charlton women’s team nor Brighton & Hove Albion could break the deadlock when the two sides met on Sunday at Erith FC.

The Addicks are next in action against Millwall Lionesses in the semi-finals of the London Cup tomorrow night at Sparrows Lane.
